Areas of Responsibility

• Provide spiritual, emotional and physical health and welfare of the pastor(s) and their families
• Review pastors’ needs annually and provide feedback concerning ministry
• Provide for spiritual well being among the congregational members
• Ensure worship services are conducted in appropriate manner
• Help arrange pulpit assistance, special services, nursery care, and greeters
• Provide ministry to inactive members
• Consider complaints and grievances of congregational members
• Assist in orderly transfer of members
• Maintain records of soul accounting
