How to Join
We invite anyone interested in joining our congregation to speak with one of our pastors. Approval of requests for membership is the responsibility of the Board of Elders of Faith Lutheran Church. Membership at Faith is possible through a number of different ways.
Transfer
Faith will receive the transfer of your membership from another congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
Profession of Faith
Those who belong to other Lutheran bodies or those whose membership in an LCMS congregation is no longer active may become members of Faith after meeting with one of the pastors.
Adult Confirmation
Anyone who has never been a member of a Lutheran congregation is required to attend our Adult Instruction Class: "What Do We Believe?" At the end of this class participants have the opportunity to join Faith Congregation.
Youth Confirmation
Students in grades 7 and 8 participate in Confirmation Classes on Sunday evenings from 6-8 pm during the school year. Eighth graders are confirmed in May of each year and are received as communing members of Faith Congregation at that time.
Baptism
Lutheran Christians place great value on our Lord's command to baptize "all nations." This certainly includes infants, children, youth and adults. We are pleased to extend to those who have not been baptized the blessing offered by Christ in this holy washing.
