Supervision

All nursery workers are chosen because they have a special love and proven ability to care for children. They also are screened for the protection of every family.

Calm

respite

Parents are welcome to stay with children until they are calm and ready to return to the sanctuary.

Sound

System

There is a sound system in the nursery so children will continue to hear the music and the Gospel. Even though their attention will not be strictly focused on the worship service as it may be in the sanctuary, they will continue to learn the "rhythm" of a formal worship service.

Safety and

Sanitation

The area used for the Sunday nursery is also the classroom for a Sunday School class for 2-year-olds and their parents and the weekday Christian Child Care Center. Cleanliness and safety are high priorities.

Security

Because security is one of our top priorities, parents are required to follow these guidelines:
* When you bring your child to the nursery, please sign your child in on the sheet provided. We use colored tags for babies and toddlers that are attached to the back of their clothing and match security wristbands for adults. Please list the color of the tag, and any special instructions about your child.
* The security wristband must be presented when picking up a child. Children will not be released to another adult or a sibling.
